Amarin Victoria Resort Samui Hotel is located within the Maenam beach area. Approximately 15 mins from the airport, 25 mins to Chaweng nightlife area and 4 minutes to the beach. Maenam beach is renowned for its clean white sands. This allows you to relax away from the crowded Chaweng. Maenam is truly the place for those seeking ultimate privacy and unspoiled nature.

Koh Samui, Thailand’s third largest island, approximately 600 kms south east of Bangkok is easily accessible by both plane and ferry.

Travelling to Koh Samui
There are three major ways of transportation to access to Koh Samui.

By Air
It is considered the easiest and fastest way to reach the Island. There are as many direct flights from Bangkok to Koh Samui as twenty, operated by Bangkok Airways. Other international routes include Singapore (1 flight daily), Panom Pehn (3 flights daily) and also some direct flights from major tourist destinations such as Phuket (3 flights daily), Hua Hin, and Pattaya (1 flight daily). For a more detailed information, reservation and flight time-table, please contact Bangkok Airways. Another option of travelling by air is to take the flight to Suratthani (2 flights daily), operated by THAI Airways International and continue on bus and ferry to the Island.

Estimated flight time to Koh Samui from Bangkok is one hour. For flight from Bangkok to Suratthani, you will have to continue journey on bus or ferry. Estimated total journey time is five hours.

By Road
Travelling from Bangkok to Suratthani by road will take approximately 7 hours and approximately 3 hours for the ferry from Don Sak Pier (Suratthani) to Koh Samui. You can take your car into the ferry. From the Southern Bus Terminal, there are several buses departing from Bangkok to Koh Samui. Comfortable air-conditioned as well as VIP buses are available.

Main Road No.4169, which runs around the Island, is the major public route of transportation. It connects many major beaches and almost all minor roads in the Island. In-land transportation is considered easy and convenient.

Access to the Hotel by car, using Main Road No.4169 and connecting to a minor road in Mae Nam, takes approximately 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the ferry pier. Access to other parts of the Island is also very convenient with this Main Road. Samui's only golf course is only 5 minutes away. (at the back of the hotel)

By Rail
On Rail Ten major trains from Bangkok to Suratthani each day will take approximately 11 hours, yet require two connecting routed on bus and ferry to the Island.
